A Snowy Ride

A Snowy Ride - Don't let the weather stop you! There is something magical about a winter landscape especially when you add these two beautiful horses and their riders. Horses seem to adapt well to the colder weather and from what I am seeing out here, they don't seem to be bothered by it much at all. As for me, I got my shot and I'm packing it in and heading inside.

Upstream from the Valley Green Inn sits the scenic Magargee Dam and waterfalls. You can hear the roar from downstream. The dam powered the Wissahickon Papermill the first paper mill in North America

Running water is the most active landscape‐transforming agent on the earth's surface. ... The stream flows downhill and across lower elevations to its terminus, where it enters another stream, lake, or ocean. In this image underground springs and groundwater, runoffs flow into the Wissahickon Creek. These small evolving streams are located all over the Wissahickon George and require some tactical maneuvering over large boulders and into the water to get a better perspective.
