Historic House East facing side. American Botanist built his home and botanical gardens in Philadelphia Pennsylvania between 1728 and 1731. Took approximately 40 years to build the stone structure. Bartram's garden is a historic Philadelphia garden and arboretum and the oldest surviving botanical garden in North America.
